Falling Springs Woodworks

5 Years and Counting

a family tradition

our story

We are named after Falling Springs which is a small waterfall that runs out of the side of a hill just about 400 yards from our house. So the community we live near is called Falling Springs. It consists of a church and a cemetery that are on Falling Springs Road. We love this remote area in northwest Arkansas, and I have always loved woodworking. Even as a kid with practically no tools, I would make little boxes and crosses. They were very crude and can’t compare to the things I do now. But deep down that love of the warmth of wood and the natural beauty of God’s creation has stayed with me. When you work with the right wood, you don’t need stains or paints… God already stained the wood with His own brush. In the shop, I design and build and Danny helps me with complex glue ups and with sanding and finishing the projects. He also  builds my jigs, tables and keeps our tools in good working order. Mostly, he just lets me spend way too much money on wood and loves me anyway, which is all the encouragement I need.
